Apr 03, 2017 (LBO) – Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka and Finance is planning to raise as much as two billion rupees from a sale of debenture which will be quoted on the Colombo Stock Exchange.

The stock exchange said the bank wanted to sell 10 million debentures at 100 rupees each with an option to issue further 10 million debentures.
Merchant Bank’s capital markets division is managing the debt issue and the subscription list will be open on 20th April 2017.
The prospectus will be delivered to member firms and trading members on 7th April 2017.
