Sri Lanka’s Treasuries yields edge up at auction

Nov 28, 2012 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s Treasuries yields edged up across maturities with the three month rate moving up 05 basis points to 10.79 percent at Wednesday’s auction, data from the state debt office showed. The 6-month yield rose 02 basis points to 12.09 percent and the 12-month yield rose 04 basis points to 12.85 percent.

The state debt office, which is a unit of the Central Bank said 18 billion rupees in bills were offered for roll-over and 23 billion rupees in bids were accepted from the market.

The state sold 3.6 billion rupees in 3-months bills, 11.5 billion rupees in 6-month bills and 8.4 billion rupees in 12-month bills.
