SriLankan Airlines increases capacity between Colombo and Singapore

Aug 29, 2018 (LBO) – SriLankan Airlines said it is expanding the capacity on the Colombo-Singapore-Colombo route with the introduction of wide-bodied Airbus A330 aircraft that are equipped with the latest in-flight entertainment systems, luxurious seating and onboard cuisine. Effective 29th October 2018, SriLankan Airlines will increase frequencies to 21 flights per week from the planned schedule of 17 flights per week.

Of this, 7 flights will be operated by A 330-300 aircraft, while the remaining 14 frequencies will be operated by A 320/ A 321 Neo`s. “This route is popular with a wide range of travelers including holidaymakers, businessmen, traders, MICE groups, students and those who visit families and friends,” SriLankan Airlines said. “Three daily flights on this route means more flexibility for our passengers.” Srilankan also offers codeshare flights to 4 cities in Australia with their OneWorld partner Qantas, namely Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Perth through the Singapore Changi hub in addition to the daily direct flights operated on Colombo - Melbourne route.
