UN High Commissioner for Human Rights commends Sri Lanka progress

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein has commended Sri Lanka’s efforts for progressing human rights situation in the island nation.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe led Sri Lankan delegation to World Economic Forum yesterday met UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Wickremesinghe has said that the country’s proposed constitution will itself has provisions for safeguarding rights of all the people.
