Rajitja may be among the worst cabinet spokespersons ever, but that is one hell of a quote.

Was it made by the President or Rajitha?

And, in MR, we had Mandela (liberation from terrorism) and Lee Kuan Yew (economic development) in one. Can anyone else deliver?

A person once held top position at UPFA today stop from getting nomination to contest election. Former president Mahinda Rajapake go on history as a leader stop the war and giving the freedom to live for all people from different ethnicity. This is totally unfair and the correct thing is to let people to decide rather than commenting on be Mandela or Mugabe. I hope Dr. Rajith will never go to Zimbabwe.

The people can decide, but a political party has a right to exclude someone who they think toxic.

MR can put it to the people but he’ll have to find a new party because the SLFP and UPFA have decided that him contesting on thier ticket is not in thier interest.

Let’s just hope they discard other garbage like Namal, Duminda, Lohan, and about a hundred other people that belong in jail rather than parliament.

Shamefully, they will not.
