We want to make a collective political decisions to make a change: Maithripala Sirisena

Sri Lanka’s Presidential candidate former minister Maithripala Sirisena said that, all the parties should get together to make collective decisions in order to change the current governing system of Sri Lanka. He was speaking at the television programme named œSatana aired by Sirasa network yesterday.

œWe want to make collective political decisions joining with all the parties to make a change in Sri Lanka and place the law and order in the country, Maithripala Sirisena, presidential candidate said.

Pointing out Jathika Hela Urumaya view Athuraliye Rathana Thera said that parties should get together to bring about a change.

Every political party, either UNP, SLFP or JVP have to get together for this election to make a change,

œThe constitution should be amended and we have spoken to government about this several times, which it never gave a response."

œIt is needed to abolish the 18th amendment and restore the 17th amendment to balance the power of the government which is going heywire now.

In the meantime Sirasa Network Channels experience disruptions on Dialog and Peo TV, viewers said.
