rnThe duty free allowance of Sri Lankans working abroad for more than one year will be raised from US $ 1500 to US $ 1750.rn

rnThe port and airport levy imposed on imports will be reduced from 0.75 per cent to 0.5 per cent.rnrn
A US $ 5 tax will be imposed on each airline ticket in addition to the US $ 10 embarkation tax now collected from travellers.
