Feb 22, 2013 (LBO) – The faculty of management studies and commerce of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura is holding an international conference with papers to be presented by participants from Malaysia, Poland, France and India in addition to Sri Lanka.
The ‘International Conference on Business Management’ will be held on February 28 and March 01 at Colombo’s Hotel Taj Samudra on the theme of ‘Turning Crisis into Opportunities: Meeting the Unmet’.

“The theme focuses on the current global economic crisis and how economic systems and business organizations could be steered to safety and success during these difficult times by paying attention to emerging opportunities,” organizers said.

Country Director for Sri Lanka and Maldives at the World Bank Diarietou Gaye will deliver the keynote address, at the inaugural session.

Ravi Dias chief executive of Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Dian Gomes the group director of MAS Holdings and Amal Cabraal the Chairman of Unilever Sri Lanka will share their views and experience in guiding organizations during a global economic crisis.
