Feb 02, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka former Health Minister Tissa Attanayake had been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today. Speaking to media Police Spokesman Ajith Rohana said, the arrest was made on charges of creating forged documents during the Presidential Election held January.

Attanayake was the general secretary at United National Party (UNP) before he crossed over to Rajapakse Regime.
