CSE and SEC reach out to investor community in Jaffna

Jul 03, 2019 (LBO) – The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) recently organized a regional investor forum in Jaffna with the aim of creating awareness on stock market investments.

The forum drew an encouraging response and attracted over 180 participants, including a number of present and active investors in the market.

These investor days offered investors based in the North of the island a perspective on investment opportunities across industries and created a platform for present and potential investors to engage with the CSE, SEC and stockbroker firms.

This marks the second occasion the series makes a stop in Jaffna, with the previous forum conducted in 2017.
