Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corp gazetted under MoD

Sep 10, 2019 (LBO) – A gazette notification has been issued to bring the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) under the control of the Ministry of Defence with effect from mid-night, yesterday.

The Ministry of Defence comes under the purview of President Maithripala Sirisena.

The change is followed by moves to appoint Kalum Palitha Maheerathne as SLRC’s new Chairman by Media Non-Cabinet Minister Ruwan Wijewardene.
