Esna Holidays acquires Mackinnons Travels from John Keells Holdings

Esna Holidays, a leading and well established name in the travel industry, has acquired Mackinnons Travels from John Keells Holdings PLC.  

With a history spanning 55 years, Mackinnons Travels is among Sri Lanka’s longest-established and most respected travel management companies, with a distinguished heritage in the country’s tourism and travel industry.

Mackinnons Travels is the Travel Network Partner (franchise partner) of American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) in Sri Lanka. This relationship dates back to 1979, when Mackinnons became the representative of American Express Travel in Sri Lanka.  

Over the decades, Mackinnons Travels has earned a reputation for professionalism, reliability and the provision of quality travel solutions. Supported by strong industry relationships, the company provides a range of services to both corporate and leisure travellers.  

Previously part of the John Keells Group, Mackinnons Travels now begins a new chapter under the ownership of Esna Group, a diversified group of companies, marking a significant milestone in its history.
