China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC); ranked 23rd largest construction company in the World. CSCEC entrusted the piling contract for D.P. Jayasinghe Piling Co. (Pvt) Ltd.
The piling project covered the 107 bored and cast in situ pile anchored more than 1300 m in bed rock upon which the 3 towers of TRI ZEN was founded upon.
There were eighty – three 1800 mm diameter piles, twenty-four 1500 mm diameter piles and twelve 600 mm diameter piles in construction scope.
Remarking upon the achievement Upali Jayasinghe, the Chairman and Managing Director of DPJ, stated, “The project was scheduled to be completed within 120 calendar days.
However, through the expert service delivery of the DPJ’s service personnel, the project was completed within 110 days while actual amount of working days was 93.
Appreciating the remarkable accomplishment the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) granted Rs.7,000,000.00 worth rewards for D P Jayasinghe piling team”.

DPJ includes BG-11H, BG-20H, BG-24H, two
BG-25s, two BG-26s, BG-28, BG-30 and BG-39 which Manufactured by BAUER
Maschinen GmbH Germany. The BG 39 is the largest BAUER pile machine in
south Asia. This fleet of equipment speaks volumes on the larger diameter piling work that can be
undertaken by us and our ability to deliver service on due schedule to the high
end clientele.”
