Organised by The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the two-day Summit will feature senior business leaders, policymakers and international experts discussing Sri Lanka’s economic priorities and investment prospects.

Held under the theme “Positioning Sri Lanka in a Changing Global Economy: Resilience, Reform, and the Future of Economic Policy,” this year’s Summit focuses on the next stage of Sri Lanka’s economic development – sustaining growth beyond stabilisation, attracting investment, strengthening regional trade links and developing new sources of economic activity.

The two-day programme on 12 and 13 October will address issues ranging from economic resilience and regional value chains to healthcare, energy and the role of digital technology in national development. Keynote speakers include the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Mr. T. Krishnakumar, Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Consumer Products Ltd, alongside senior representatives from the Asian Development Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Zydus Lifesciences and the International Finance Corporation.

The attendance of the President and Prime Minister over the two days of the Summit adds considerable significance to the Summit, bringing the country’s highest political leadership into discussions on economic reform, investment priorities and business conditions that will shape Sri Lanka’s growth in the years ahead.
