Sri Lanka inflation slows to 4.8-pct in June

June 30, 2010 (LBO) – Consumer prices in Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo rose 4.8 percent in June 2010 from a year earlier, down from 5.

The 12-month moving average, which is a lagging indicator spread over two years has been on the rise since March, rose to 3.

9 percent from 3.6 percent in May 2010.
