Sri Lanka air travellers to get online benefits

Feb 28, 2008 (LBO) – Sri Lankan travellers reserving tickets through Emirates’ newly commissioned online booking portal, can win free win tickets until the end of March, the company said. Emirates contest website The promotion which is valid till end of March, requires travellers to book their seats on-line on Emirates operated flights.

“We have launched this promotion to celebrate our re-vamped website and to generate greater awareness about the supremely convenient on-line booking facility,” Devika Ellepola, from Emirates’ Sri Lanka office said in a statement.

Winning opportunities include economy class return tickets to London, Dubai and Singapore, three of the popular destinations for travellers from Sri Lanka, a company

Emirates operates 17 services a week from Colombo to Dubai and four services a week from Colombo to Singapore and Jakarta.

The airline flies to 100 cities in 62 countries in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, Africa, Indian subcontinent and Asia-Pacific.
