Jan 22, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka has seized the passports of former Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Ajith Nivard Cabraal and Parliamentarian Sajin Vass Gunawardena, a media report said. The report said the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has issued a directive to the Department of Immigration and Emigration (DIE) to seize the passports due to complaint lodged by The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) with the Bribery Commission against 12 former governmental members including former President.
