Sri Lanka to set up a special court to ensure speedy justice for brutal murder of Jaffna school girl

May 27, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s President Sirisena had said, a special court will be set up to ensure speedy and proper justice in the case of brutal rape-murder of the school girl in Jaffna.

“We cannot let such incidents to be happened ever in the future in the country,” Sirisena said.

He yesterday visited Jaffna and met with murder victim;s mother and brother at the Jaffna governors official residence and expressed his deep regret over the incident. The murder victim, 17 year old, Sivaloganathan Vithya, was found raped and murdered recently, and the incident cause clashes between public and police, who were accused for failing to act speedy.
