Sri Lanka President suggests a minimum salary for private sector: Budget 2015

He also suggest to increase minimum salary level by 500 rupees monthly for those who already get paid over 10,000 rupees per month.

“The honorable speaker, I have seen the salaries of private sector have been increased through various allowances only,” President Mahinda Rajapaksa said.

He said this, presenting a budget for 2015 at the parliament Colombo today.
