May 04, 2013 (LBO) – Allianz Insurance Lanka said it is on the lookout for two Sri Lankan teenagers to participate in a football camp in Germany and teens between the ages 14 to 16 could apply. The annual Allianz Junior Football camp, from August 7 to 12 will allow them to train with members of the top German football club, FC Bayern Munchen and their coaches and observe private training sessions.
They will be able to see Munich visit the football clubs museum, ‘FC Bayern Erlebniswelt’.
Boys and girls between the ages of 14 and 16 years could apply online at
http://www.football-for-life.com website, after selecting ‘Sri Lanka’ as the country option.
The permission of their parents or guardian is needed.
“Allianz Lanka is committed to nurturing sports and leadership skills among our youth across the country, and has sponsored many sporting events in Sri Lanka,” Sandamal Hettiarachchi, Allianz Insurance Lanka general manager sales and distribution said in a statement.
“These young players will not only build up their game but also their character and will have an enriching intercultural experience.”
Teen applicants who fail to qualify for the German training
