High Rises

Jan 30, 2008 (LBO) – Sri Lanka™s condominium regulator has issued over 200 certificates for high rises that are coming up in and around the capital, a top official said. "We have issued 183 full and complete certificates, and several semi-condominium certificates, Condominium Management Authority chief Abul Kalam said

A semi-condominium certificate is issued to a project which has several phases when parts are completed, Kalam said.

Ceylinco™s Trillium Residencies, a luxury apartment complex coming up in Colombo, received its semi-condominium certificate from the Condominium Management Authority Wednesday.

Trillium™s certificate is the fifth semi-condominium certificate to be issued by the condominium management authority.

The 300 apartment Trillium residencies will be completed in three stages.

The Trillium Residency is a Ceylinco group project. It is being constructed on a land of three and a half acres overlooking the Colombo Golf Course.

Ceylinco, which is a long-term player in the property market, says demand for its apartments remains strong.
