Sri Lanka sells Rs4.56bn in 03 year bonds; 07 year bonds rejected

Apr 21, 2015 (LBO) - Sri Lanka has sold 4.56 billion rupees of three year bonds after calling bids for six billion rupees of bonds, the state debt office said.

The debt office on Tuesday sold three year bonds maturing on 01 June 2018 at weighted average yield (net of tax) of 8.

The debt office of the Central Bank offered 3.00 billion rupees in three year bonds and 3.00 billion rupees in seven year bonds.

The three year bond has received 21.86 billion rupees of bids while the seven year bond has received 21.58 billion rupees of bids.

All bids received for the seven year bond were rejected at the auction.

At the last auction held on 16 March 2015, all bids received for the bond were rejected.
