Sri Lanka’s CIC and Dubai firm in indoor plant deal

Dec 12, 2011 (LBO) - Dubai-based S S Lootah International said it had inked a partnership with Sri Lanka's CIC Agri Business to supply ornamental plants to the UAE and later jointly expand into tissue culture with an eye on markets in Africa.

"We will initially import Indoor Plants to the UAE markets having identified it as the prime area to focus on in order to enter into the market," Yousif Bin Saeed Al Lootah, chief executive officer of Creative Choice, a unit of S S Lootah group said.

Creative Choice is engaged in landscaping, indoor plant supply and maintenance. The unit was started 30-year ago under S S Lootah's landscaping division, the firm said.
