More resources needed to cope with increasing birth rates among tsunami victims in Sri Lanka’s East coast, says UNICEF. Families in the East coast that lost their children to the tsunami in December last year, are trying to get back their lost children – but limited resources can’t support the baby boom.

“The rising birth rates are brining new challenges,” said Leanne Mitchell, Communication Officer, UNICEF, Sri Lanka.
