Oct 26, 2011 (LBO) – Maldives has launched a new slogan ‘Always Natural’ and a thumbprint-styled logo highlighting the Indian Ocean tourist paradise’s natural assets. The logo has been designed to express the natural elements of the country formed in a thumb print incorporating various species of fish, dolphins and birds.
“The previous slogan was over 11 years old and we believe the new slogan and logo better represents the Maldives of today, as well as tomorrow,” Simon Hawkins, managing director of the MMPRC.
MMPRC had commissioned QUO Keen a Bangkok based tourism consultancy to research and design the logo and slogan.
“We have created a brand that stands for the Maldivian people, for tourism and for all of industry,” David Keen, chief executive of QUO Keen said.
The slogan Always Natural talks to the wonderful character of the people of the Maldives, to sustainability and to the ultimate tourism experience.
