German Foreign Minister in Sri Lanka tomorrow

Sep 21, 2015 (LBO) – Germany’s Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Frank-Walter Steinmeier is to arrive in Sri Lanka on Tuesday for an official visit, the foreign ministry said.
During his visit the German Foreign Minister is to meet with the Sri Lankan President, Prime Minister, and the Opposition leader.
He is also expected to travel to Kilinochchi to inspect the Sri Lankan-German Training Institute, which is currently under construction and scheduled to be opened in the month of May in 2016.

This is the first visit by a German Foreign Minister to Sri Lanka since 2004.
