May 11, 2013 (LBO) - Sri Lanka Telecom said it had provided telecom facilities to Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport for all services and commercial partners to operate effectively. "We assure MRIA of our utmost commitment to provide the highest quality and most reliable services always," Kiththi Perera, head of SLT's enterprise and wholesale business said in a statement.'

"We aim to enhance our offerings through SLT Intelligent Solutions portfolio for the entire business segments, to help companies achieve higher productivity and operational efficiency."

The telco has provided facilities to Airport & Aviation Services, Customs, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Bank of Ceylon, Peoples Bank, Foreign Employment Bureau), intelligence and immigration offices and Sampath Bank.

A Sri Lankan Airlines office has been given an internet protocol (IP) voice-data facilities as a managed service.

SLT is also the communication infrastructure provider for the main international airport in Katunayake. .
