.aero is a new Internet domain name (like .com, .net, .org) exclusively reserved for the aviation community, rn
rnSriLankan will be among over 3000 names registered with the .aero suffix including, airlines, aviation industry news services, engineering and maintenance firms and service organisation.rn
rnThe industry wide migration began in March 2002, with mainstream airline services given the first option to register domain names. rn
rnRestrictions were relaxed from September 2002, allowing a wider section of related services including aerial works, air freight & logistics companies, aviation industry associations, aviation professionals, air sports, aviation media and pilots. rn
