Oct 23, 2013 (LBO) – State-run Mihin Lanka will operate twice weekly flights, code-sharing with sister full service carrier, SriLankan Airlines. The flight will start from next month, SriLankan Airlines said.
Nishantha Wickremasinghe who is chairman of both airlines said the flights will connect not only Seychelles but the African continent as well.
Chief Executive Kapila Chandrasena said under commercial arrangement passengers from South Asia, Far East boarding in Colombo will have access to Air Seychelles regional network in the Indian Ocean and Africa.
Mihin Lanka flights scheduled for Wednesday and Saturday will depart Colombo (CMB) at 1330 hours and arrive in Mahe (SEZ) at 1610 hours while the return flight will depart Mahe at 1710 hours and arrive in Colombo at 2300 hours.
