Organizers say Russian and Ukrainian visitors are targeted because they are found to visit Sri Lanka at this time.
"We have done a small survey and we have seen an increase number of Russian and Ukraine people in the island, Chula Kodithuwakku, Chairman of Hawkeyes said.
"So we have mainly targeted them. Propaganda wise, we have already printed reflects and distributing in both languages,
"There were quite number of tourist participated for the last year’s festival and we hope to see about 1000 tourists participating for this year."
The festival will have adventure sports, beach football, volleyball, rugby, tug-o-war, swimming, jet skiing, canoeing, stand up paddling and wind surfing races as well as local sports like kabadi.
