‘s parliament adjourns following a tense situation

Apr 20, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s parliament on Monday adjourned following a tense situation that irrupted in the chamber with opposition parliamentarians staging a protest against a move to summon former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

H.M Fowzie told LBO that the speaker has adjourned parliament till Tuesday morning.
“A group of opposition parliamentarians are staging a protest against a decision to summon former the President saying he has immunity.” Fowzie said.

Bribery Commission is to record a statement from former President Mahinda Rajapaksa over allegations leveled against him.

I also think summoning former president unwarranted the yahapalanaya. Without proper evidence attempt to bring disrepute to former political leaders are coward act to gain political mileage at the forthcoming election.
