The tie up with Cargills Ceylon will add some 71 supermarkets, with a 15 hour day and open 7 days a week advantage, to its billing centre network.
Bill payments will be credited immediately, with the Cargills billing system connected through its head office to Dialog’s billing application.
Currently, Dialog customers can pay their bills in over 500 locations across their island, which includes 22 Dialog operated offices and over 400 banks.
Telekom chief Dr. Hansa Wijayasuriya on Monday said the supermarket tie up is only the initial stage of a multi stage programme which will allow any Dialog customer to pay their bills or top up credit at the checkout counter.
