The US$ 500,000 programme, that began in March, also targeted the Police Narcotics Bureau with basic criminal investigative and narcotics interdiction techniques.
This latest round of training reached out to approximately 150 police officers and officials from police districts and bureaus throughout Sri Lanka.
The courses taught management techniques through a police supervisors course, a mid-level management course and a train-the-trainer course in instructor development.
