Ceylon Chamber to host post budget seminar

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will hold its customary post national budget seminar on the 27^th November, 2015 with the participation of a top panel, which will consist of high ranking officials from the Ministry of Finance and also taxation specialists. The event, which will be held at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce auditorium will have as the Panel, the Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. S. R. Attygalle (tbc), The Commissioner General of the Department of Inland Revenue (IRD) Mrs. Kalyani Dahanayake and also the Deputy Commissioner general of IRD Mrs. Dhammika Dahanayake, Head of Tax Services & Partner of Ernst & Young, Sri Lanka, Mr. Duminda Hulangamuwa, Senior Partner, Gajma & Company Limited, Mr. N. R. Gajendran and Mrs. Charmaine Thilakeratne, Director of Pricewaterhousecoopers. The session will be chaired by Mr. Duminda Hulangamuwa, who is also the Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, whilst Mrs. Charmaine Thilakeratne of PWC will deliver a presentation titled ‘Taxation Proposals of Budget 2016’.  Following Mrs. Thilakeratne’s presentation, a panel discussion would be held with the above mentioned officials and tax specialists. The event will start at 8.15 am.
