Jayasinghe, who is vice president finance planning and treasury at Sri Lanka's NDB Bank will represent South Asia in the CIMA global council from June 2010, the bank said.

Jayasinghe is the vice chairman of the Industrial Association of Sri Lanka, a member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Accounting and Auditing Standards Monitoring Board and a commission on company law reforms.
