Middleware Spot

July 13, 2007 (LBO) – The open source middleware technology company WSO2 says its products generated wide interest at the SOA World software conference in the United States. The SOA World Conference and Expo held in New York City, USA is the largest independent Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services event in the world, WSO2 said.

Since its launch seven years ago, SOA World offered seven simultaneous tracks of the best SOA, Web Services and Enterprise Open Source education available.

WSO2 says being a Silver sponsor of the event it was able to capture the attention of a wide audience ranging from over 700 developers, architects, IT managers and software professionals.

œThis was a great opportunity for us to showcase our product line and the company as a leader in open source Web services middleware development," says WSO2's Asankha Perera, who was also on the SOA Power Panel at the conference.

"The demo we presented on the WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus, which we released a few weeks ago, and the exhibition booth helped create a lot of buzz, leading to many inquiries and interesting discussions.
