Better known at home for its Munchee biscuits and Ritzbury
chocolates, the 35 year old company will stretch its wings to cash in on a Rs. 4
bn market of cake eating locals.
Rolling out its range of ‘portion’ sponge small cakes,
sold in single packs off its lines in a month, the company has already upped
capacity and added a cake plant.

factory in Ranala is primarily for cakes, though we are also expanding our range
for chocolates and wafers there and putting in two biscuit plants,“
