October 28, 2019 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe officially congratulated President Donald Trump and the United States Military on its successful operation to destroy the leader of ISIS.

Sri Lanka’s PM was the political leader who had to take charge of the security effort during Sri Lanka’s Easter Sunday bombings as the country’s President was out of the country.

Despite being undermined by the President with regard to national security, the PM was able to preside over the stabilisation of the security situation and prevent ethnic tensions from spiralling out of control. Wickremesinghe throughout his career has been a steadying force with regard to Sri Lanka’s volatile racial/political backdrop.

The elusive leader of ISIS Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in a U.S. military operation in Syria. The ISIS leader surfaced for the first time in several years with video in praise of Sri Lanka’s Easter Sunday bombings of churches and five star hotels.
