President Gotabaya Rajapaksa said that Sri Lanka will receive the first batch of Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines manufactured in India next week, free of charge.
Speaking at a public gathering today, the President said that the government is also working on buying the Covid-19 vaccine from Russia, China, and India.
The National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) yesterday approved the emergency use of Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines in Sri Lanka.
