Mobile operator Dialog Telecom’s revenues could be significantly under forecasted, with potential increases in revenue from segments including automatic international roaming under valued. Dialog has also just commenced providing turnkey solutions to foreign networks for setting up and operating automatic international roaming services, with its introduction of increased roaming value added service,

Dialog Telekom chief Hansa Wijeyasuriya on Tuesday said the mobile operators revenues could grow beyond the 30 percent market projected for the next three years going by the growth posted by other markets with similar social economic socio economic conditions.

Wijeyasuriya was speaking at a ceremony on Monday closing the mobile operators local and international roadshow in Colombo.

Forecasts for the sector meanwhile, were growth is expected to peter out after the 35 percent penetration levels is also significantly lower compared to regional markets including India and Malaysia.
