‘s marxist JVP protest against government

June 18, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s marxist Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna on Thursday evening held a protest march urging the government to fulfill its promises by honoring the mandate.Appointing independent commissions, passing the right to information act, ethics code for Parliamentarians, establishing the national audit commission were among slogans displayed at the protest.

The protest march commenced from Punchi Borella Junction created a heavy traffic in the area.
