Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera hosts Ifthar

Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera held an ifthar in Matara yesterday (09).
Religious leaders, political leaders, diplomats from Muslim countries, businessmen and civil society were present at the gathering.
Foreign Minister Samaraweera emphasized the multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious nature of Sri Lanka and said that the friendliness between the Muslims and Sinhalese citizens of Matara made the city a example of reconciliation.
